Dr. Campbell graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1983. He completed a rotating internship followed by a residency in radiation oncology at Indiana University Hospitals and Clinics. During his training he was chief resident and also an American Cancer Society Clinical Fellow in his final year. He returned home to Nevada in 1987 and joined Radiation Oncology Associates, where he has worked ever since. He is a member of numerous medical societies including ASTRO, ACR, and the Nevada Oncology Society, and is on the staff of St. Marys Regional Medical Center, Renown, the VAMC, and Carson-Tahoe Regional Medical Center. Dr. Campbell is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology.
Beth L. Hummer, M.D. received her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in 1986. She graduated with honors in Oncology and Neurology. Following this, she did her internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Hummer went on to do her residency in Radiation Oncology at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. from 1987 to 1990 and was chief resident during her final year. After residency, she stayed at Henry Ford Hospital as a senior staff physician in clinical practice as well as doing research. In 1992, she moved to Reno, Nevada and has been in private practice with Radiation Oncology Associates. Dr. Hummer is board certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology.
Roger D. Miercort, M.D. attended medical school at the University of Colorado in Denver, graduating in 1964. He completed his residency in Radiology at the University of Colorado Medical School in 1968. From 1968 to 1970, Dr. Miercort was on active duty in the U.S. Navy. In 1971, he established his private practice in Radiation Oncology with Radiation Oncology Associates in Reno, Nevada. From 1971 to 1998, Dr. Miercort was also the Medical Director of the Department of Radiation Therapy at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. Currently, he is the Medical Director of the Carson Tahoe Regional Cancer Services in Carson City, Nevada. Dr. Miercort received his training in Radiosurgery at UCLA. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Jaime Shuff, M.D. received her medical doctorate at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2000. She then completed her intern year in Reno, NV before moving to Wisconsin to complete her four year residency in Radiation Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is skilled in intensity modulated radiation therapy techniques and high dose rate brachytherapy, and her interests include gynecological and gastrointestinal malignancies.
Jennifer Boyden Sutton, M.D. graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Biology in 1985. Following this she attended Medical School at the University of Nevada/Reno, graduating in 1989. Dr. Sutton completed her residency in San Francisco at St. Mary’s Hospital/West Coast Cancer Foundation in 1993. Following her residency she then did a six-month fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston focusing mainly on Head and Neck Cancer. Her other interests include Stereotactic Radiosurgery and breast cancer. Dr. Sutton is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology.
